As voted for by my instagram followers here is a tutorial for this fun bright card which i made, i was inspired to make this card after watching a tutorial by Kristina Werner on her you tube channel.
firstly i cut a piece of grey card stock at 4 1/2 inches by 11 1/2 inches and scored it at 5 3/4 inches, i then cut a piece of aquafine watercolour paper to 5 1/2 inches by 4 inches.

for the next stage of the card i used the 'whole Lotta happy' stamp set from Wplus9, an acrilic block, a fine tip paint brush and three colours of distress inks (salty ocean, picked raspberries and mustard seed)
I mounted the round balloon stamp on my acrilic block and then applied ink just to the edges of the stamp
I then stamped it onto the waterproof paper, repeating until i was happy with it.

I repeated the same technique with the other two ink colours. Then i used a wet paint brush to blend the colour from the outside edges into the center.

I pressed the ink pad onto my heat proof mat and then used a wet paint brush to pick up some of the ink to help blend in the colour on the balloons.

Ii then used my heat tool to dry the ink
I mounted the 'go on and celebrate' sentiment from the mama elephant-make a wish stamp set onto my fiskars stamp press and stamped in onto the waterproof paper
I used a staedtler triplus fine liner to draw strings onto the balloons. i then took my EK success powder tool and rubbed it over the sentiment.

I re-stamped the sentiment using versamark ink and then covered the sentiment with WOW! clear gloss superfine embossing powder.
I shook off the excess powder and then heated it with my heat tool until it was melted.
I then used the small and medium stars from the mama elephant-make a wish stamp set and stamped it in pumice stone distress ink.

using a clear wink of stella glitter brush pen i applied applied it to all the yellow balloons.
I then used double sided tape to stick the completed scene onto the the grey card stock.
I really hope that you have found this tutorial helpful and that it inspires you to try something new.
