As voted for by my Instagram and Facebook followers here is the tutorial for the winning card, I hope you enjoy it.

Firstly I took some white 300gsm card stock and cut one piece at 4 1/4x5 1/2 inches and another at 4 1/4x11 inches, I then also cut some 300gsm Aquafine watercolour paper at 4 1/4x5 1/2. Once I had done that I took the cow stamp from the My Favorite Things 'The whole herd' Stamp set and stamped it onto the water colour paper in Versafine Black Onyx ink.

I then also stamped it straight onto some masking paper without having to re-ink my stamp.
I cut out the image from the masking paper and placed it over the stamped image, making sure to cover the tail too.
I then stamped the same cow image either side of the masked cow to make it look like they are standing behind the middle cow, and peeled off the masking paper.
Using black soot Distress ink, I pressed the ink pad down onto an acrylic block and used a damp paint brush to pick up the ink.
Using the paint brush I then colour in the areas I wanted to be darkest with the ink, I then dipped the paintbrush in water and dabbed off the excess with tissue and blended the colour in from the edges where I had coloured.
Once I was happy with how it looked, I then repeated the same steps for the white areas which I used 'Weathered Wood' Distress ink, and for the noses which I used 'Spun sugar' Distress ink. I then dried it with my heat tool.
I took the Lawnfawn 3 1/2 inch stitched circle die and placed it over the area I roughly wanted to paint. I drew around the circle die in pencil to give me a guide but then rubbed it out so that I could only just see the outline.

Using the same technique as before, I then used 'Pumice stone' Distress ink to colour in the ground area around the cows, adding water to fade the colour outwards.
I then repeated that step again for the sky using 'Tumbled glass' distress ink.

I cut the water colour piece out using my scissors to slightly bigger than the circle die.
I then coloured in the cows noses with my Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush pen to add a bit of shimmer, and set it aside to dry.
I lay everything out on my piece of white card stock so that I could make sure I cut the circle in the right place, Once I was happy with the layout I then ran it through my Big-shot machine and then stamped the sentiment in Mama Elephant Creative colour 'Plumberry' ink.
Whilst the ink was still wet I sprinkled clear embossing powder over the sentiment and shock off the excess. I then heated it with my heat tool until it was melted.
Using a black fine liner pen I then drew faux sticking around the outside of the circle.
I placed the finished piece over the card base I prepared earlier and used a pencil to make a few marks where the circle would be, I then stuck down the water colour piece using double sided sticky tape.
I put 3d foam squares (I used small ones as that is all I had, but you could use bigger ones to save you some time) all over the back of the card and stuck it onto the card base. Finally to finish it off I used my We R Memory keeps corner chompers on the 1/2 inch setting to round the top 2 corners of the card.

And there we go :) I really hope you enjoyed seeing how I made this card, I hope to be back again soon with another new tutorial, so be sure to stop by again soon.

Hi everyone, I made this cute little card for my dad as fathers day is coming up, I hope you enjoy seeing how I created it.

Firstly I cut a piece of white card stock at 4 1/4 inches by 8 1/2 inches and scored it at 4 1/4 inches.
I also cut a piece of watercolour paper at 4 inches by 4 inches.
I then took the 'Bear hugs' stamp set by Mama Elephant and placed my selected bears and sentiments on the watercolour paper where I wanted them to be, once I had done that I pressed my Fiskars stamp press down onto the clear stamps to pick them up in their desired lay out.
Using Versamark ink, I inked up just the sentiment stamps and pressed it down onto the watercolour paper. I then sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it with my my heat tool.
Using 'Vintage photo' Distress ink, I then inked up the bears stamp and stamped it onto the watercolour paper.
I took my ink pad and pressed it onto my heatproof mat and used a damp fine tipped paintbrush to pick up the ink.
I then coloured in both the bears, adding extra ink layers to create shadows making the image look more 3D.
Once I was happy with how the image looked, I then stamped the bear image onto some masking paper in Versafine black onyx ink and cut around the image with my scissors.
I placed the masked piece over the coloured image and then added a strip of masking tape along the bottom of the watercolour paper to cover the area I wanted to be the ground.
I then used my blending tool with 3 colours of distress inks to create the night sky, I started by blending the seedless preserves from the bottom upwards, I then brought in faded jeans in the middle and black soot from the top, adding more of each colour until I was happy with it.
I then added some masking tape to the bottom of the night sky area and removed the tape from the bottom of the watercolour paper.
I then used my blending tool to add pumice stone distress ink to the bottom section, I wasn't happy with how this looked so I then blended over it with black soot distress ink. Once I was happy with how it all looked I removed all the masking and left it to dry (you could speed this up by using your heat tool).
After it was completely dry I mounted one of the small stars onto an acrylic block and stamped them randomly onto the top section of the background using Versacolour white pigment ink. I then added white embossing powder and heat set it with my heat tool.
Some of the stars weren't quite as solid as I would have liked, so I used a white jelly roll pen to fill them in. I also then used the pen to add small dots in different sizes to make it look like a starry nights sky.
Once I was completely happy with the look of the background, I mounted the watercolour piece onto the white card stock. Finally I added some clear wink of stella to the bears just to add a bit of shimmer.

Thanks for bearing with me, sorry it is such a long tutorial but I do like to be as clear as possible so that you can see exactly how to create a card like this, I hope to start making video tutorials in the near future :) until then I really hope you enjoy reading my posts.
