Today I made this fun, simple and bright birthday card, here's how I did it:

Firstly i took a piece of white card stock and cut it at 8 1/4 by 5 3/4 inches using my fiskars paper trimmer.

I then scored it at 4 1/8 inches using my Martha Stuart 12x12 inch score board

I then took the 'happy birthday to you' stamp from the mama elephant-make a wish stamp set and mounted it on my fiskars stamp press.

I inked up the stamp using Avery Elle pigment ink-strawberry and pressed it down onto the desired area on the card stock.

Whilst the ink was still wet I sprinkled over some clear WOW! Embossing powder, shook off the excess powder and then heat set it with my dovecraft heat tool.

Taking two of the small star stamps from the same stamp set, I then randomly stamped the stars in Avery Elle pigment ink-mustard seed and hero arts shadow ink-navy mid tone around the sentiment

I then made a small hole on the fold of the card and pulled through some red and white twine and tied it in a bow at the front of the card.

To finish off the card I took my 'We R Memory Keepers, Crop-A-Dilemma Corner Chompers' and rounded the top right hand corner using the half inch setting.
